Peter Brown – G Dancer

Something new out on Hotfingers by Peter Brown. This producer has been around quite a while and right now is definitely his time, he is hammering the industry with some absolutely amazing productions.

Peter’s original mix of ‘G Dancer’ is nice and bouncy with some huge piano chords, and a chunky bass pattern to suit. I like the breakdown in particular as there are some nice building sirens wailing underneath an American male speech vocal. Huge tune, I’ve bought it already!

Along with the original mix is a more techy remix from ‘Kid Shakers’, they make use of some big piercing hats, chopped up vocals and a nice filtered rhodes stab. Definitely one for the main room! Very well produced and with a label like Hotfingers, I’m sure it’ll get a lot of attention and the credit it deserves!

Reza & Peter Brown – Phreak It

Another big name that’s on fire right now is Reza, this time he teams up with Peter Brown for this main room house smasher! Some great stabby chords sitting over a nice deep bass pattern, nice vocal hook too! This track has a big old skool vibe to it with some familiar samples kicking in occasionally. The dancefloor needs this tune!

Marco Primucci ft Jenny Jackson – Could You Love Me

I expect big things from this track purely because of the label it’s on and even with big expectations and high hopes, it doesn’t disappoint! A nice new one on Hotfingers. This one is a little different in the respect that there’s no big breakdown, build and drop! It’s a pretty steady flow with some amazing synth patterns and a nice airy vocal. I love this tune! Have a listen, its awesome!

Mike Vale & NDKj ft Marga Sol – Say My Name

Big club track with a great vocal. It has a really nice breakdown and build too. This isn’t as hard or main room as I usually like but there’s something about it that I really like. The production on this is second to none, the drums are awesome and the bassline pattern sits really nice underneath them. Well worth a listen..

Jonathan Ulysses & Tim Cullen – Take 5 (So Called Scumbags Remix)

An up & coming name that we keep hearing again and again is the ‘So Called Scumbags’, we decided to check these guys out. They have had many releases now on loads of labels and we love it. We even went out to see them play in Brixton, London (amazing DJ’s too!). Check out this remix of Tim Cullen (Ministry Of Sound) and Jonathan Ulysses track ‘Take 5’.
