Moonwalk – Eclipse

Kittball latest release for 2016 brings us the Italian duo Moonwalk aka Mauro Morabello Morabito and Dario Vizioli from Naples.

Their music has been released on: Diynamic “Free from your love”, Mexa rec. with the charting Girl for you, playlisted by many DJs including Solomun and Tiesto, Lo:Rise, a sister label of Defected Records.

The Eclipse EP consists of three intense tracks packed with very progressive melodic synths and emotive sample work, connecting the soul of modern House and Deep House with the vintage appeal of European Electronica as an overall package.

Personally out the three I am feeling Eclipse, I think this will sound epic on a good system in a main room!
Kitball’s releases throughout 2015 were all top releases, so we cant wait to see whats in store for of 2016!

Jay Lumen – Find Myself EP

Ok, so I’m a bit late with this one. This EP has been sitting in my reviews list since it’s release on 25th February and even though it’s late, it’s still worth a mention! There’s two parts to this release and they are both produced by Jay Lumen, who is no stranger to this site. First up is a track called ‘Find Myself’ which is a mix between deep house and bumpy tech. A really nice punchy bass pattern makes this track stand out along with some subtle vocals and an awesome breakdown, build, rise and drop. It’s big! The other track is called ‘Radio Ready’ which has the same deep house and bumpy tech feel to it although this one incorporates a nice warp bass pattern, a big underground element and a sense of darkness. Jay makes great use of the claps throughout this one. Great release, check it out..
